1. Mr. Valkov, briefly tell us – who stands behind the name Sun Home?

Behind Sun Home stands a family that believes in trust and humanity in business. My wife Zornitsa and I are entrepreneurs by nature – for more than 15 years we have been building projects based on professionalism, respect, and integrity. Over time, we realized we wanted to create an agency where clients don’t just buy a property – they gain peace of mind, security, and personal support.

2. How did the idea of creating your own real estate agency in Svilengrad come about?

Svilengrad is a city with great potential – a strategic location between three countries and a rapidly developing market. Working with investors and buyers over the years, I noticed the lack of a professional agency that combines quality service, international communication, and true client commitment. That’s how Sun Home was born – an agency created to be different.

3. You have serious entrepreneurial experience in confectionery production and trade. Many people ask – are you leaving that business?

Absolutely not. That business is a part of me and always will be. It’s a solid and established enterprise that I built with love and consistency together with my brother – my long-term partner and trusted associate.
Our confectionery brand “Parapina” has a 36-year history, created by our family and turned into a symbol of tradition, quality, and style. Today, it employs a team of over 30 professionals who put heart, talent, and discipline into their work every day.
I’m proud of what we have achieved – a stable, recognizable, and respected brand that continues to grow and inspire new generations. At this stage, I’m simply expanding my horizons, now together with my wife – transferring my accumulated experience into a new field where I can apply the same principles: quality, precision, and customer care. Entrepreneurship is not about giving up one thing to start another – it’s about evolving while staying true to your values.

4. How has your previous experience helped you build Sun Home?

Managing “Parapina” and other business projects taught me that discipline, quality, and respect for the client are fundamental. Real estate is the same – the client must feel they have a partner, not just a broker. Every success begins with human connection.

5. What qualities do you consider essential for a successful broker and leader in this field?

Honesty, persistence, and the ability to truly listen. A broker should be a consultant and a partner, not a salesperson. When you work transparently and wholeheartedly, results follow naturally.

6. What makes Sun Home different from other agencies?

Sun Home offers a complete range of services – from valuation and market analysis to legal and credit assistance. We don’t just advertise properties – we create solutions. We work with clients from Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, and beyond, making us an international partner, not just a local agency.

8. What services do you offer?

We offer mediation in purchase and sale, rentals, property valuations, mortgage support, document preparation, and consultations with lawyers and notaries. We also focus strongly on new developments and investment projects.

9. You also work with foreign clients – how do you build trust with them?

We work in several languages – English, Turkish, and Russian. We provide full documentation and assistance with translators, lawyers, and banks. Trust comes when clients see professionalism and humanity, regardless of language.

Warmth, professionalism, and positive energy. Every element – from the design to the atmosphere – was created to make people feel welcome and at ease.

A professionally organized event full of smiles and pleasant surprises. We’ll present our new office, our team, and our partners – and celebrate a new beginning for Svilengrad.

14. How do you feel before the event?

Excitement, pride, and gratitude. Building Sun Home Consult wasn’t easy, but when I see the results, I know every step was worth it.

15. How do you see the local property market developing?

It’s dynamic but stable. More and more people understand the long-term value of property investment. I believe Svilengrad will become even more attractive for living and business.

16. What are your goals for 2026?

To strengthen our position as a leading regional agency, to open a new office – the location will remain a surprise for now – and to expand our investment portfolio. Most importantly, to help even more people find their dream home.

17. What advice would you give to young people who want to become brokers?

Don’t be afraid to start. This profession is for energetic, patient, and motivated people. Success comes when you treat others with respect and truly believe in what you do.

18. What motivates you most in your work?

The client’s smile when we hand over the keys. That feeling is priceless – it reminds me why we do what we do.
